YouTube Music Seems Shady

I love Yasiin Bey's album The Ecstatic.
I'm considering switching from Spotify to YouTube music, so I signed into YouTube music and looked around for some music I like. It looks like people take albums that don't exist on YouTube and post them there anyway. Right now The Ecstatic is not on most streaming services. I look for it on YouTube music and I find it there but it's not associated with his name. Some other people just look like they uploaded the tracks and made a playlist with that album name.
YouTube Music wants me to pay to subscribe and download playlists like this. Who gets the revenue from that? Does it somehow go to Yasiin Bey? Or does the person who ripped and posted it get ad revenue instead. This looks really sloppy.
